ArbSmart's Story
Founded by a Native North Georgian
Owner Jon-Erik Harkins was born and raised locally in the North Georgia mountains. His family worked in the logging industry and, therefore, was exposed to the world of trees at a very young age.
He began his tree climbing career in the mountains of East Tennessee and moved back to continue work in Dawsonville. Jon-Erik has since established a loyal base of those he has had the pleasure of working for.
ArbSmart takes cues from the old school but wholeheartedly embraces the new paths of arboriculture. We have worked in a wide variety of locations from East Tennessee, to South Florida and Southeast Texas.
While we have seen and worked in many other places, our hearts will always reside in North Georgia.
